Pet Store Adoption Locations
The P.A.L. Program was launched in March of 1994. The main objective of this program is to allow the Ottawa Humane Society to place greater numbers of shelter animals (cats & small animals) in responsible homes by partnering with local pet stores in the community. The P.A.L. program provides convenience both in location and opening hours for people adopting shelter animals. In working together we create more visibility for the animals in need, as well as greater public awareness of responsible pet ownership.
Today, there are eight pet store locations active in the program. Since the program's inception, over 10,000 animals have been adopted through our pet store partners. View a map of the pet store locations!
