Resource Kits
Are you looking for a fun and informative activity that emphasizes character education for your students? The Ottawa Humane Society offers a Humane Education Resource Kit (JK-8) that promotes respect and empathy toward people, animals and the environment. Our teacher-reviewed presentations have been designed to complement the Government of Ontario's Ministry of Education elementary curriculum requirements (where possible).
Each kit includes the following:
- Nine presentation scripts with a list of the props required;
- Follow-up activity sheets to enhance the learning objectives;
- 11 animal photographs to be used per presentation;
- One video; and
- One evaluation form for your feedback.
