Incentive Prizes The registration fee covers some of the costs associated with putting together this annual event but pledges are the key to achieving our fundraising goal of $140,000. Registrants are encouraged to collect pledges in order to raise their level of support and become eligible for some of the great incentive prizes awarded to top fundraisers. Please join me, my dogs Macy and Ari, and hundreds of other participants at this year’s 20th anniversary IAMS Wiggle Waggle Walkathon. I am pleased to be involved in this important fundraising event for the Ottawa Humane Society, an organization that has been helping injured and abandoned animals in the capital region for over 120 years.
There is a registration fee of $25 per person or $40 per family. Each registrant will receive a free doggy bandana and Flealess Market goody bag.
The 2km and 5km PetSmart walks at the Arboretum of the Central Experimental Farm are the centerpieces of activity, but there is always a lot to do at the walk. There are amazing demonstrations, contests, attractions for all including a Family Fun Zone and huge Pet Pavilion full of vendors and exhibitors. Discover your pet's artistic side at Puppy Picasso, get your portrait taken with your pet or bid on a special silent auction item. |
