Blooms and Berries
The Ottawa Humane Society Auxiliary is pleased to present the fourth annual Blooms & Berries fundraiser to be held on June 12th from noon to 4 pm at the Glebe Community Centre (175 Third Avenue). Starting at noon, browse our sales tables for plants, baking, crafts (made by Auxiliary members), jewellery, books and CDs.
Our guest speaker this year is well known Ottawa gardener and lecturer, Mary Pratte. Mary will speak on the importance of public gardens and the role these green spaces play in our lives - to promote education, art, music or just a place to meditate and slow down. Attendees can then enjoy fresh strawberry shortcake while Mary takes questions. There will also be fabulous door prizes to be won.
