The Ottawa Humane Society Garden Party, in honour of the late Chef Kurt Waldele, returns June 26 to mark the 16th anniversary of the event. Tickets are $125 per person (tax receipt of $75 included) and are now available, purchase your tickets today!
Chef Waldele was a long time supporter of the OHS. From a combination of his two passions, cooking and animals, came the Garden Party — an event which began at Chef Waldele’s personal residence and has now grown into one of the most anticipated fundraisers of the summer. It is with great pride that we continue to honour the legacy of this Ottawa legend by hosting the Garden Party on an annual basis as a fundraiser for Chef Waldele’s favorite cause, the animals in the care of the Ottawa Humane Society.
The Garden Party brings together Ottawa’s top food and beverage venues to raise money for the animals in the care of the Ottawa Humane Society. This event is a delight for the senses and the heart, as the event features Ottawa’s top chefs and mixologists each preparing a tasting dish or cocktail for guests to enjoy, as well as an open bar serving fine wines and craft beer. There will also be an opportunity for guests to bid on a wonderful and eclectic assortment of live and silent auction items, and a chance to mingle with OHS animal volunteers.
