Ethical Fundraising
The OHS has adopted Imagine Canada’s Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability Code and abides by the Association for Fundraising Professionals' Donor Bill of Rights.
The Ottawa Humane Society is the only Humane Society or SPCA working in Ottawa to provide sheltering, enforcement and protection, and outreach programs for all companion animals.
To ensure your donations support 11,000 animals that we see yearly and these programs, please contribute directly to the Ottawa Humane Society.
The OHS does not receive funds from the Ontario SPCA, the Humane Society of Canada, the Toronto Humane Society, the Canadian Federation of Humane Societies or the Canadian SPCA.
