The Ottawa Humane Society needs your help at our
Wiggle Waggle Walkathon on September 7, 2008.

As you know the Walkathon is the biggest event of the year. But we need you to make it happen!

We’re still looking for folks to lend a hand in the following areas:

Parking and Route MonitorsPaw Parking and Route Monitors — parking volunteers work in teams to help walkers park their cars and avoid by-law violations. Once the parking crunch is over, volunteers will be re-directed to the route to guide and encourage walkers. Time commitment is from 7:30 a.m. to approximately 11:30 a.m.

Registration RocksPaw Registration Rocks! — volunteers are needed to help out registering walkers from 8 a.m. to approximately 10:30 a.m. After that time, these volunteers move on to the food pavilion.

Paw Food Pavilion — foodie volunteers serve up BBQ, ice cream and breakfasts. Time requirement is from 7:30 a.m. to approximately noon.

Children's AreaPaw Children’s Area — volunteers are needed to help with colouring contests, face painting, raffles and a small scavenger hunt. Time commitment is from 8:30 a.m. to approximately noon.

Pre-registration is also available on Sept. 4 at Petsmart and Sept. 6 at the Arbouretum.
