Greening Initiatives
The OHS uses and encourages environmentally friendly practices for everyone at the Wiggle Waggle Walkathon. Here are a few tips on how, together, we can create a fun 'green' event with minimal impact on our environment.
- Resister and raise funds online: this saves paper by eliminating the need to print pledge and registration forms.
- Water: bring your own in a reusable water bottle.
- Car pool: share the ride to our new site with friends, family or team members and save on gas and carbon emissions.
- Stoop and scoop: make sure you pick up your pet's waste (using biodegradable bags) to reduce pollution and contamination of waterways.
