Become a VIP Walker
Pledges are instrumental in helping us achieve our fundraising goal for the Iams Wiggle Waggle Walkathon. To recognize and thank you for the extraordinary efforts that go into raising $500 and up for Ottawa’s animals, we have created a VIP program so you can enjoy some special perks on walk day.
All VIP walkers will receive the following:
- Doggy bandana
- Walk T-shirt
- Priority registration area
- VIP Parking
- Access to VIP tent with seating, refreshments, and other special surprises
- VIP washrooms
- Free pet photo portrait
- Free Puppy Picasso (paw print painting for your dog)
- Walk Water Bottle
- Ballot for Grand Prize Draw to win a 64mb BlackBerry PlayBook
VIP walkers will also be rewarded based on their fundraising level. Click here for information on reward levels.
How will each donation of $500 or more help the animals?
We will be able to attend three emergency responses for an injured dog or cat. This includes agent time, animal transportation, and emergency medical treatment.
We will be able to house 10 dogs in Adoption Centre for five days. This includes cleaning cages, feeding, and monitoring their health.
If you have reached our $500 VIP level and are raising your funds offline please notify Bertha Norvor at walkathon@ottawahumane.ca or 613-725-3166 ext. 263 to ensure that you receive of all your VIP perks.
The cutoff time for online fundraising totals to count towards prizing for teams, veterinary teams, and individuals will be 11:59pm on Friday September 9th, 2011.
Donations brought to preregistration or registration on the day of the event will still be included in final totals.
