Tails of Love Valentine’s Event
Looking for a way to celebrate the season of love with the whole family? Join us at our Tails of Love Valentine’s event!
Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon featuring a Valentine’s photo booth, themed crafts and activities, a paws-itively fun scavenger hunt, special opportunities to meet and interact with some of our amazing program dogs and more! It’s a heartwarming way to make memories, spread love and celebrate the animals who fill our lives with joy.
Date: Sunday, Feb. 8, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Drop-in anytime, but keep in mind that the fun wraps up right at 4 p.m. sharp, so plan your arrival accordingly!
Location: Ottawa Humane Society Adoption Centre (245 West Hunt Club Rd.)
Cost: Tickets are $5 a child (ages 2-14), and accompanying adults get free entry.
Event supplies are limited, purchase tickets in advance to guarantee your spot! Tickets are non-refundable. Teenagers and adults who would like an event bag can purchase one onsite for $5.
Support for our Shelter Animals
The OHS cares for thousands of animals each year, and that means we go through a lot of food, treats, enrichment items, and other essentials to keep them happy, healthy, and loved.
This Valentine’s Day, we invite families to share the love by bringing in donations of items we need most. Your generosity helps make a big difference for the animals in our care!
Most-Needed Items:
- Dog toys (Kongs and Kong Wobblers)
- Exercise Pens
- High value dog and cat treats (liver treats, pet-friendly cheese spray, Churu lickables)
- Dry/wet food for dogs and cats (Purina cat chow, Friskies, Fancy Feast, Caesars)
