Youth Advocacy Workshops

Become a Youth Animal Advocate

The Youth Advocacy Workshop series, designed for youth between the ages of 14 and 18, focuses on building leadership skills through interactive experiences. Our workshop will explore different animal advocacy topics throughout the year, so youth are encouraged to come back for multiple sessions!

This workshop is structured into three components:

  • Learn: Increase awareness of animal advocacy in our community through an educational presentation, animal interactions, and a shelter exploration to see advocacy in practice.
  • Think: Identify meaningful ways for youth to help animals through group discussion and interactive activities that encourage critical thinking.
  • Act: Take what you learn in this workshop and continue advocating for the animals in our community.

Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a document of completion.
