Ottawa Humane Society to Feature Long-Stay Adopt-From-Foster Pets at Upcoming Adoption Event

August 20, 2019 — The Ottawa Humane Society (OHS) has confirmed it will be attending an upcoming adoption event hosted by one of its Pet Adoption Location (PAL) partners on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019.

“We’re hoping community members will come out and meet some of our pets most in need of a home this weekend,” said Zenon Stecewicz, OHS manager: admissions & rehoming. “These cats have been in OHS care for long periods of time – as long as 13 months in one case – and are desperately looking for loving forever homes.”

The event will feature five long-stay pets. Spot (A104913), Braydon (A219325), Maverick (A218247), Ophelia (A218705) and Augustine (A214701) – who has been in OHS care for over one year – will be at Ren’s Pets for the day searching for their forever families.

Potential adopters can visit Ren’s Pets – Baseline at 1385 Baseline Rd. Unit 3, Nepean, Ont. on Aug. 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to meet some of the many animals looking for their forever families.
