Merry Christmas from the OHS team and Ottawa’s homeless animals! I hope today brings you and your loved ones warmth, kindness and togetherness.

Today, as they do every day, our staff and volunteers are at the shelter, providing essential care for Ottawa’s homeless animals. I am deeply grateful for them. They are making sure the animals in our shelter are safe, loved and well cared for.

I am also grateful for you. You are part of the compassionate community who makes our work possible. It is the support of people who care that keeps essential supplies stocked and bowls filled with kibble, and ensures there is a safe, warm shelter for Ottawa’s most vulnerable animals.

Because of you, we can be here for the animals who need us. Thank you, sincerely, for making that possible.
