FIFA Stars Aren’t Ready for This Physical Test
While battling it out for their spot in the World Cup, athletes Lionel Meowssi, Cristiano Rodoggo, and Kylian Mewbappé shared an exclusive interview about an upcoming competition that may be their greatest athletic endeavour ever.
“I’ve been training for the Wiggle Waggle Walk & Run all my life,” said Lionel Meowssi, as he bounced nervously from paw to paw. “The pressure of the World Cup is nothing compared to Ottawa’s biggest event for the animals.”
“The roar of the crowd on the football pitch has prepared me for the barks and woofs at Hog’s Back Park,” mused Cristi-doggo Ronaldo. “I’m bringing my very best for the cats, and dogs, and rabbits, and all the little creatures who need a home.”
“Sweat, perseverance and grit are only some of the ingredients of a great athlete,” said Kylian Mewbappé. “It also takes, heart, soul and treats.”
All three athletes have confirmed they will be competing in the hotly anticipated Ottawa Humane Society Wiggle Waggle Walk & Run happening on Saturday, Sept. 26 at Hog’s Back Park.
