In the role of Attendant: Animal Care, you are responsible for maintaining animals' health by ensuring daily feeding, watering, exercise, and enrichment are completed, cleaning and maintaining animal care equipment and facilities. This role includes monitoring and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and files of the animals' health and welfare. Support the Ottawa Humane Society's volunteers, students, and work placements. Provide training and orientation, as well as participate in supervision and evaluation. 

What We Offer You:

$21.73 - $24.50 hourly

  • Part time schedule, 40 hours bi-weekly
  • 2 week rotating schedule

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six months’ experience in animal care
  • Working proficiency in spoken and written English is required
