Attendant: People & Culture (HR Assistant) Canada Summer Jobs (Contract 8 weeks)

The Attendant: People & Culture is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the People & Culture team by assisting with employee records management, recruitment, onboarding, and general HR functions to support organizational needs.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Enrollment in or completion of post-secondary studies in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or one (1) year of experience in Human Resources administration.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
- Professional working proficiency in spoken and written English is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact and discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with HRIS is an asset
In order to be eligible for the Canada Summer Jobs Program, candidates must:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period;
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment; and;
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
